Bucket List Weekend.

January 30, 2012.

I think we all have a "Bucket List", or at least we all should. For some of us it might include sky diving or bungee jumping or visiting Alaska.

I've got a list of a few places I want to go before my time is up, and right at the top of the list was to go see a Duke game at Cameron Indoor Stadium in North Carolina.

Well on Saturday, I went.

My first memory of seeing Duke play basketball was as an 11 year old, watching the Blue Devils lose to UConn in the '99 title game. That stacked squad had Trajan Langdon and Elton Brand, Corey Maggette and Will Avery, Chris Carrawell and Shane Battier. From then on I was hooked.

13 years later I was afforded an opportunity by my girl AB, who I know from our undergraduate days at St. John's, and now goes to Duke Law.

AB, myself, and my former college roommate B are all huge Duke fans, and it just so happens that AB now not only attends Duke but has season tickets for Men's Basketball.
So she pulled some strings, got a couple extra seats to the St. John's game for me, Brian and our other friend Whit and that was that.

And this was it...

To call the campus, the stadium and the museum beautiful is an understatement. The place is amazing.

This one can get crossed off the list.
